RISK MANAGEMENT
In 1995, the Prayon Group set up a Risk Management unit whose responsibilities have changed gradually over the years and whose primary objective is risk management within the Group.
The role of the unit is to :
- promote the concept of Risk Management within the Group for all types of risks — to individuals and to property — that might jeopardize the Group's survival
- work in active partnership with safety, quality, environmental, logistical and legal players to pinpoint and reduce risks
- take part in monitoring audits
- develop a Group supervision strategy
- serve as an interface between the Prayon Group, its brokers and its insurers in respect of insuring against and financing risks
- increase the safety of the transport of hazardous materials, whether by road (ADR), railway (RID), waterway (ADNR) or sea (IMDG). This is done by appointing safety transport advisors.
