Professional REACH REACH USAGE COMMUNICATION
HELP
To access the lists of uses, please follow these steps:
Log in and enter the name of your company to get a password.
Search for products, refer to lists of identified uses and check that your use is covered.
Substances on the list are identified by their most current names and their reference numbers (CAS- EINECS). You will find these numbers on the SDS, on the product's technical sheet or on the list of pre-registered substances.
Why are there two different approaches, one for classified substances and one for non-classified substances?
It is important to point out that the REACH requirements are higher for substances which are 'classified' as per the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
Indeed, for non-CLP-classified substances, the uses are simply stated in the registration dossier via the use descriptor system.
For CLP-classified substances, we must collect further information about the conditions of uses and Risk Management Measures and develop exposure scenarios for inclusion in the registration dossier. The aim is to confirm that the substance can be used safely.
What about substances with a later deadline (2013-2018)?
On the website you will find lists of uses for substances due to be registered in 2010.
Uses of substances with a registration deadline in 2013-2018 will be made available at a later date.
