Created in July 2000 to lead the group's commercial activities in North America, we acquired a 40 acre phosphate manufacturing facility in Augusta, Georgia in October of the same year.

Phosphate production at the Augusta site dates back to 1962 when the site first started manufacture of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) for use in household laundry detergents. A second unit was added in 1975 to produce calcium phosphates for the oral care sector. Packaging, warehousing and various capacity expansions followed.

Since 2000, we have continued to expand and broaden our activities at the Augusta site, adding several new products, including disodium phosphate (DSP), tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and monocalcium phosphate (MCP).
