and calcium pyrophosphates) are used as polishing agents.
Calcium phosphates also boost the re-mineralisation potential.
Pyrophosphates are used to prevent tartar, and sodium tripolyphosphate
is a bleaching agent. Sodium fluoride (NaF) is also used in dental
products as a fluoride supplement. |
