cover to risk management

In 1995, we set up a Risk Management unit
whose responsibilities have changed gradually over the years
and whose primary objective is risk management within the
Group. |
The role of the unit is to:
- promote the concept of Risk
Management within the Group for all types of risks — to
individuals and to property — that might jeopardise the
Group's survival (industrial and commercial risks, and those
associated with new acquisitions and new information technologies,
etc.);
- work in active partnership with
safety, quality, environmental, logistical and legal players
to manufacturing and sales departments to pinpoint and reduce
risks;
- take part in monitoring audits;
- develop a Group supervision strategy;
- serve as an interface between the Prayon
Group, its brokers and its insurers in respect of insuring against
and financing risks;
- tighten up safety standards on the transportation
of hazardous substances by road (ADR), rail (RID), waterway
(ADNR) and sea (IMDG) by appointing transportation safety advisors.
