Sulphuric acid is sold in 2 separate forms:
concentrated acid: 66°Bé-95-99% H2SO4
diluted
acid: all forms between 20 and 94% H2SO4
Sulphuric
acid is used in the following industries:
chemicals: pH control, etc.;
metals: stripping, sulphate
electrogalvanising;
automotive: batteries etc.;
paper: production of chlorine
dioxide etc.;
food: pH control of beet juice (sugar production),
waste water, etc..
