AMMONIUM AND POTASSIUM SALTS

Our ammonium phosphates (MAP, DAP) set the quality benchmark in this field. They are recognised for their high level of purity and their complete solubility.
Manufactured at our plant in Engis, Belgium (capacity: 60,000 tonnes), our ammonium phosphates are exported worldwide, particularly to Europe and North America.

Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) is used in fertilisers, ceramics and glazes , fireproofing of various materials, fire extinguisher powders and fermentation processes.

Diammonium phosphate (DAP), which meets the requirements of the International Oenological Codex, is also used as a fermentation nutrient and as a fireproofing agent. It is also used in fertirrigation.

Monopotassium phosphate (MKP) is manufactured at our factory in Puurs, Belgium. Our 15,000-tonne capacity and the high level of purity of this product mean we can cover the main consumer markets.

Although, in contrast to ammonium phosphates, our monopotassium phosphate (MKP) does not have any intrinsic fireproofing properties, it is still valued as a nutrient in a whole range of bio-industrial fermentation-based processes (e.g. manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations etc.). It is also used in fertirrigation.
