Reporting directly to the R&D Manager at Technophos (Varna), you conduct end-to-end laboratory experiments in line with set parameters, using purification technologies on phosphate solutions in order to support the development of products.

Your responsibilities

• You perform practical experiments following set parameters and standard operating procedures in order to enable new product development,
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of the analytical methodologies, cost-effectiveness and quality of the laboratory analysis by staying abreast of industry in order to improve on operational efficiencies,
• You perform and maintain appropriate quality assurance and quality control procedures in line with standard operating procedures to enable the achievement of desired results,
• You conduct quality and composition verification of raw materials and final products in order to validate various hypotheses using scientific methods,
• You manage the administrative tasks of the department by developing work schedules, managing workload, stock monitoring and invoicing in order to ensure smooth functioning of the department,
• You oversee, manage and control the yearly budget department by managing costs to ensure comprehensive cost management,
• You coordinate laboratory technicians’ daily tasks.

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Chemistry,
• You have 3 years of practical experience,
• You have strong mathematical aptitude and have a strong knowledge of laboratory equipment used,
• You have good oral and written communication skills,
• You have a good problem solving and decision-making skills,
• You make attention to detail and analytical thinking, and you are able to apply general concepts to specific problems to produce positive results.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
• You have a sound knowledge of current OH&S legislation and guidelines,
• You speak English, knowledge of French is a plus.
