Logistics Coordinator – Rail Car

Prayon Inc. is a chemical manufacturer in Augusta, GA.  Our phosphate products are shipped throughout the Americas and around the world.

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator who has experience coordinating a fleet of rail cars.   Additional responsibilities include supporting the overall distribution process by planning the transportation for company shipments, ensuring the proper documents accompany each outbound shipment, controlling the traffic in and out of the facility and completing the necessary inventory control transactions for the company shipments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of logistics support, with at least 1 year of rail car coordination experience along with a knowledge of hazardous shipment and DOT regulations.

Preferred candidates will have an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Transportation & Logistics, Materials Management or relevant discipline.
