CYBERSECURITY LEAD

Reporting to the Global Architect and Security Manager and based at the HUB in Flémalle (Belgium), the Cybersecurity Lead will oversee security projects across Europe and support the organization’s security operations. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring networks for vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation with Infrastructure and Operations teams, issuing technical advisories, and contributing to ongoing security initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

• You implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls at each local site in Europe
• You conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to identify and mitigate threats and you lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, communication, and remediation, · You collaborate with the Global Security Operations team to ensure alignment with corporate cybersecurity standards and you participate in ongoing security projects (e.g., NIS2) and other Security Operations tasks as assigned,
• You promote cybersecurity awareness and training among local staff and monitor adherence,
• You monitor and report on cybersecurity performance (KPIs), incidents, and compliance metrics,
• You manage relationships with local vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with security standards,
• You work with operations and engineering teams to secure production systems without impacting safety or availability,
• You monitor OT environments for anomalies, unauthorized changes, and potential cyber threats and you support compliance with industry standards for OT security (e.g., IEC 62443, NIS2).

Profile:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field,
• You have minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environment,
• You have strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2). NIS2 implementation experience will be considered as a key asset,
• You have experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management,
• You bring strong expertise in Windows and Unix operating systems,
• You have the ability to identify and remediate network vulnerabilities,
• You have excellent communication skills and you know how to engage with different stakeholders,
• You have experience applying security patches in an industrial network and with IDS and IPS operation,
• You demonstrate excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; French is an asset.
