Modular H₂SO₄-based process to upgrade your raw material

Prayon has the widest experience available on the market in processing high-impurity phosphate rocks.

Depending on the type of low-grade rocks and quantity of impurities, traditional phosphoric acid processes can meet the following issues :

  • Filtration affected by the high viscosity
  • Formation of gel at the concentration stage
  • Post precipitation and scaling

Prayon Technologies developed GetMoreP, a unique process enabling to recover P2O5 from low-grade phosphate rocks by adding diluted sulfuric acid. This process provides an outstanding raw material for any phosphoric acid plant : the DCP “super-rock”.

GetMoreP is a chemical beneficiation process with a recovery efficiency far above any traditional beneficiation plant (up to 90%). It produces a DCP “super-rock” of high quality (up to 41% P₂O₅) leading to the following benefits using it as raw material instead of phosphate rock
